GBC IT wants you to be happy with every course purchase. This policy explains when course purchases, digital learning materials, and subscription access may be eligible for a refund.
Eligibility — Online Courses
To qualify for a refund on a course purchase, all of the following must be true:
- A refund request must be submitted in writing to info@gbc-it.com.
- The request is made within 30 days of the original purchase date.
- Your course progress is less than 20% (measured by video watch time and completed lessons on our learning platform), unless otherwise approved by GBC IT.
Access & Non-Refundable Cases
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Courses where the student has downloaded most or all of the course materials or requested certificate issuance (proof of access will be used to evaluate requests).
- Any course access purchased with a promotional or one-time-use coupon explicitly stated as non-refundable at the time of purchase.
- Free course enrollments and trial content (no charge was incurred).
Important: Granting a refund will typically result in the immediate revocation of your access to the course materials and any certificates associated with that purchase.
Subscription-Based Courses & Memberships
For subscription or membership access (e.g., monthly/annual plans):
- Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the charge date.
- Refunds for subscription charges may be prorated depending on usage and how long access was active during the billing period.
- Cancellations stop future billing but do not automatically issue refunds for past billing periods unless an eligible refund request is approved.
How to Request a Refund
- Email info@gbc-it.com with your order number, the email used to enroll, purchase date, and a brief reason for the refund request.
- Our support team will review your request, check your course progress, and respond within a reasonable time with the outcome and next steps.
- If a hard-good (e.g., printed workbook) was part of your purchase, you may be asked to return the item in original condition before refund is issued.
Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method. The time it takes for funds to appear in your account varies by payment provider and bank; we estimate between 5–14 business days but cannot guarantee the exact timing.
Exceptional Circumstances
GBC IT reserves the right to approve or deny refunds on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances (technical issues preventing access, duplicate charges, etc.). Please include relevant evidence when requesting a refund to help expedite review.
